Begin by closing your eyes and taking a nice, long, cleansing breath … in through the nose … and out through the mouth. Again, in through the nose … out through the mouth. Allow your breath return to its natural rhythm now … inhaling easily, exhaling peacefully. Gently allow your body to settle into this still, quiet space. Notice any areas of tension and just allow them to melt away. You can make any adjustments for greater comfort and relaxation as needed. Feel yourself become more and more relaxed with each inhalation … and exhalation.
Gently bring your attention to your hands now and begin to visualize or sense a warm, luminous light glowing within. Notice its gentle pulsing … allow your attention to focus on this radiant light, and with your next inhalation, imagine pulling this light up into your wrists. With each inhalation, you bring this beautiful glowing essence up through your forearms, your elbows, your upper arms and finally into your heart space. Imagine this gentle pulsing merging with the soothing rhythm of your heart beat now. See their peaceful pulsing and rhythm becoming one. Let these two energies mingle within your chest and on your next inhale, imagine a bright glowing light in your heart space. Notice its brilliance, its color… notice its warmth and comforting presence as at it gleams deep within.
Now, imagine this brilliant light radiating outward, towards the people in this room (or house, or whatever would best fit your situation). Feel your light expand out towards theirs … see these powerful beams of light ignite, shining even brighter now … expanding beyond this room … out to the people driving past in their cars … out to the those that are in their homes and nearby businesses … out to the people in the stores … the churches … the schools… the hospitals and prisons… blessing each and every being along the way. Feel this tender and welcoming light flowing out to all the surrounding trees, bushes, flowers and stones. Sense this beautiful essence dancing upon the breeze until it expands out even further, touching every living animal … the ones with fur… the feathered ones … the ones crawling upon Mother Earth … and the ones swimming deep within her cooling waters.
See this radiant light expand even further now across the vast oceans … the clay-like deserts … and winding rivers … the high majestic mountains … and the luscious forests of green. See it converging with every living being on the other side of the world, until the entire planet is completely engulfed in this glorious light … emanating blessings to each and every living being with this radiant flow of Divine love. See the entire planet surrounding in this brilliant, glowing essence.
From here, see brilliant beams of energy expand out towards our beautiful and graceful moon … the surrounding planets and stars … out toward the entire universe … blessing all Beings as it stretches across the heavens … sending love and light to all of our blessed ancestors … to all of the beloved angels and archangels … and of course, The Great Spirit that answers to so many names.
See, feel, sense and know that this mighty force that pulses within you has the power to ignite the entire universe with unconditional love and radiant light at any time you choose. Know that as you send blessings out into The Universe, the blessings are returned to you a hundred times.
Bringing your awareness back into the room now, you can begin to wiggle your toes and fingers. Begin to stretch and move in whatever way feels comfortable to you. Allow yourself to come back to your body in this present moment, feeling completely relaxed and empowered, and connected to all living things.
