Immune-Boosting Recipes Inspired by Nature

Hey there, Sunshine!

I got a sweet deal on a new Ninja blender during Black Friday and I am absolutely IN LOVE! I have been juicing and making smoothies for several years, but lately I have been SUPER INSPIRED and thought I would share a few of my favorites with you. These recipes will keep you full and energized throughout the day. I have also included some nutritional information on several supplements that I think you’ll find helpful, too. ENJOY!

Green-a-colada

1/2 Cucumber

a handful of blueberries (fresh or frozen)

a few chunks of frozen pineapple

1/2 an avocado

a handful of kale (leaves only)

1 Tbsp. Chia seeds

8 oz. coconut water

Blend ingredients + enjoy! Super yum!

Berry-licious

1-2 scoops of vanilla protein powder

1 Tbsp. of each:

Flax seeds

Chia seeds

Hemp hearts

Maca powder

1/2 frozen banana

a few red berries (I used strawberries and raspberries- use frozen if they’re not in season in your area)

a handful of fresh spinach

12 oz. water

Blend ingredients + enjoy! Deee-lish!

Green Machine

This concoction is packed with yummy flavor and fuel for the soul.

1/2 avocado

a handful of spinach

1/2 banana

8 oz. almond milk

1/2 cup of ice

Blend ingredients + enjoy!

Supplement Information:

Flax seeds: Great source of Omega 3’s which balance hormones and keep your digestive system moving

Chia seeds: High in protein which means the keep you feeling fuller longer, great source of antioxidants + other nutrients

Hemp hearts: Another great protein source + they contain high amounts of vitamin E, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, sulfur, calcium, iron and zinc. WOW!!

Maca powder: Boosts energy levels + helps keep hormones balanced
